I have a Garmin 215T.

Every 4-5 seconds the display stops for 1-2 seconds. I can't decide if it has got worse since I updated it to the latest software.

It doesn't seem to be fast enough for the job and it's really annoying.

1) When you are near a junction where there are lots of turns you're never quite sure which one to choose. You glance at it and think next but one and then suddenly "oh b*****" it just jumped right past it.

2) Proximity sometimes fail to occur and then you get a warning for the camera you've just passed - really bloody useful!

The unit often seems to miss the bit of road behind the car - this seems to have got worse so that it rarely shows it all - I guess this may be a lack of processing power too.

It seems I had too many POI's and in particular the t-mobile.csv (wifi) was generating alerts. Apparently because it has a numeric character in the fielname. i.e "-"

Once I had trimmed the number of POI's the screen updates much more smoothly.
