navman s80 problems no tmc ?

hi all can any one help or advise please, i bought a navman s80 it arrived on the 31st july, suppose to be new, but on further inspection the seal had been broken, there was no screen protector on the screen, and when switched on and checked the log it had been used last november on numerous occassions, but besides all this does the tmc cradle have to have a seperate connection along side the usb type power adaptor ? its got a round pin plug type that says tmc ? maybe an antenna to get the traffic data ? as when i go into the tmc menu theres no stations there its blank and just says automatic your views and help would be much appreciated thanks

In the box there should be a pink/ white wire, this is the TMC antenna. This needs to be plugged in to tthe socket you mention so the device can start searching for Classic FM.
If it is missing I would contact the retailers and check all the other accessories in the box
