Track up : North up ?

Hi all

I normally use Track up when on my bike so I can follow the route ahead.

Question is when I stop and then use the joy stick to move to a point ahead on the map the screen changes back to North up which can be a bit off putting. Is this normal and can it be set to not change ?.

It's normal I think. I find it extremely annoying too
