Nice set of instructions AliOnHols, but I've just one minor point.
I'm confused by your references to the SD card being called "INTERNAL". .....
Hi Andy_P, I have just checked some of my earliest WinExp back-ups for my Go730. The Root drive was called "TomTom" and the SD card was called "INTERNAL", as you say, it was most confusing and led to a few mistakes until I re-named them with more distinguishable labels.
Presumably this is not normal?
EDIT - Thinking this through, a brand new SD card would not have a label, so could it have been renamed as I copied the entire contents of the TT onto the card? even that sounds doubtful? _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Dunno! I don't *think* you could ever rename a card by accident while copying, but stranger things have happened!
I've renamed all mine so many times I've no idea what they used to be called, but I've got a really old original Go300 card on my desk (120MB! Those were the days!) and looking at that it's called "TOMTOM" on the Windows disk format page and Windows Explorer refers to it as "TomTom Go" (because it's labelled as that in the autorun.inf file).
Hi Andy_P, not sure that I understand either. All I do know is that I would never have named a removable SD storage card as "INTERNAL", How it got this name, if it is not the default label the TT gives it, could only have happened somehow during back ups and/or file transfers and I then mistakingly took it as fact.
Thankfully ootoph saw through this and is able to navigate listening to Kate once again.
Thanks for the feedback ootoph.
Regards.
Edit - Do you think I should go back and edit my original instructions in case sombody else follows them and gets confused? _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
