The Navigon site says that UK Premium TMC needs to be purchased additionally - but it doesn't mention 'ordinary' TMC for the UK at all (whatever that might be). So can't help there really, sorry; but you obviously have something there. As for the City View, I haven't found that View yet either. We both need a city - but I'm sure it works when the time comes Everything else seems to:wink:
If you look on the Navigon site you should find definitions of TMC & Premium TMC which may help. _________________ David

Thanks for that. Just one other question. Did you get a voucher code for cheap map updates with your purchase from Halfords? If so, what did it look like - ie. was there a form of some sort in the box?

Sorry, can't help there much, either (not doing too well today ), as the 2-year map update was included with my 8310.
I can only suggest that if you have thrown ANYTHING away from the packaging,, get it back before it's too late and have a VERY careful look through everything. There might be some info on the box itself. You could also ask Halfords whether there is a Maps voucher/deal on your unit.
Maybe someone who has been to Halfords can be more helpful. _________________ David

BTW I should have said, archimedes, that you should be able to check what TMC, software (eg City View), etc you have on your unit by going into 'Options', 'Settings', 'Product Information' (or something similar) if you can find your way there. _________________ David

You won't be able to use this at the moment as their website is not working. It works until your get to confirming the transaction then rejects it. They don't know when it will be working. The only item you need is the map update as all the other items they are selling are already installed.
If you email them and say you are going away and need the update urgently then they will probably give it to you free as they have with both my son in law and myself.

Thank you very much. I emailed them and they told me where to find it - hidden away! Like you, I tried to use it and the transaction was cancelled at the final stage - twice. I'll take your advice and email them as I am going away on holiday to France shortly. Thanks again.
