I have set up POI warnings for the UK speed cameras twice recently and later discoverd the warnings stopped. When I went into the 'Warn when near POI' button they were no longer displayed.
I haven't updated the cameras in between it working and not working, although i believe camera updates do not affect this anyway.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this configuration would be lost?
Presumably this setting is part of some sort of config file, can this be saved and re-instated on one action rather than having to re-select each of the categories?

The file you want is MapSettings.cfg, in the Current Map folder.

Make a Copy of it in the Root of the Device.

There is a history of the warning settings sometimes getting lost after you have used the TomTom with TT's Home program, especially the on-screen emulator.
Could that be your cause?

I used to lose my warnings fairly regularly, but I haven't for quite a long time now. Are you running latest software? What model do you have?

I still always keep a backup copy of the MapSettings.cfg file on the TT itself (in the root directory), just in case. So if I can find a PC somewhere, it's an easy job to replace the one in the map folder.
