TT6 from htc tytn 2 to touch pro 2

I have just changed phones, when I bought the tytn2, it came packaged with TT6, I just had to buy the map, is it possible to switch this onto the tp2 as I legally own it? I now have a built in unit in the car, so this would only be a back-up, I would of course uninstall it from the tytn.....I tried loading from the disc, but it says I need to update my phones rom, so I suspect it may be locked to the previous phone.

I recently had to change phones, and managed, eventually, to get my maps and Tomtom Traffic sub transferred over. I would have receipts for phones etc handy though, as they are very fussy about details.

I found the whole thing to be VERY frustrating, but they did come good in the end, be prepared to change devices under Tomtom home etc.
