blue media bm6300 not working

Hi guys i now have the map cd and support cd for my satnav, i have installed navigator on the pc and connected the satnav with activesync my problem now is when every i try to install the maps etc all i get is the same message as before that the installation files are missing from the sd card. does anyone know where i am going wrong. i am guessing that i have to install the maps to the sd card which it is doing but still not working.
any help would be great.
