On my old unit there was an option to manage poi but I cant for the life of me find it on this newer unit! Has it been scrapped? _________________ Graham

You can get the menu option you want by running a custom menu on the device, but doing this you will lose the MapShare and HelpMe capability from the device - Mike |

It was removed from the menu of certain of the "One" models. It's still there on the Go and XL ranges.
Do a search of this forum for "custom menu" for lots more discussion about it.
THIS topic includes a post by "pocketgps" with details of a custom menu file which should get the "Manage POIs" menu back. There are probably others...
(but to save you asking, there are no menu commands to get the Mapshare and Help me menu entries back).
The "Help me.." is pretty much a waste of time, but if you really want to use Mapshare, you can always temporarily remove the custom menu then reinstall it again.
As always, back up fully before you start tinkering. |

As Andy says, you can see the other posts. But have a look on my web site HERE (opens in a new window).
I have made a file that you can download and set-up on your own unit. It is installed via Explorer, and removed via Explorer in seconds if you don't like it. |
