I would like to buy TomTom GO 940 LIVE. But I can not find information if it has build in TMC receiver or not?

It does not have built in TMC. It has a built in GPRS mobile for downloading HD traffic data via the internet.

It does not have built in TMC. It uses HD Traffic, which, according to TomTom

The external receiver and the mount can be used with the 940, but, according to TomTom

so if you are hoping to use it at home you may be disappointed.
