As long suspected, TomTom have finally shown their iPhone application. The WWDC Keynote speech is under way in San Francisco and Peter Frans-Pauwels demonstrated the new TomTom iPhone Application.
Making full use of OS 3.0, TomTom for iPhone includes text-to -speech and an optional carkit.
TomTom have also incorporated speakerphone support for the navigation instructions and iPhone media can also be played over the car stereo.
We will of course bring you more information as soon as we receive it but this is sure to be the first of many iPhone nav apps announced in the coming weeks. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Can't wait for this. It's the whole reason I got the iPhone 3G in the first place.
I hope Tomtom haven't nerfed this in comparison to their standalone units. I want IQ Routes and Live services please. |

As the earlier pre WWDC thread has a larger number of posts I'll lock this one and we can continue discussion there.
