Anyone got a problem free nuvi 865

First one I had froze and reset itself a lot so sent it back to Garmin and received a new unit in 4 days (brilliant customer service) second one I had is even worse, this also freezes but the sound crackles like interference and some things respond slow, now I’m not sure whether to risk getting another one or get tomtom.

I agree that the customer service when it comes to exchange is great, but now i just want one without any annoying glitches. Today for example I noticed my 865 has had a sex change as the voice went from female to male overnight

I update the latest update in May but it did not seem to sort out any of the things it was supposed to and all garmin are saying is wait for a software update (again!).

I bought a new 865t last week, updated it with the latest map and have had no problems whatsoever. So far it has been brilliant and I love it, esp the speech recognition
