I bought one for £4.97 from Currys and so far it has been pretty good. In 10 hours of driving last weekend I was only without a signal for about 15 minutes, and the information was reasonably accurate
I am going to France in about a week's time. Do I have to do anything to configure it for use outside the UK?

Nope it will work over there in the same way as it does here, there is an option to choose the country of use which you can get to by tapping the traffic bar, I just leave set to Strongest Signal though these days - Mike |

| I need the USB version to go with my 940. Now TT. Dixons etc are all £54.99 but I see Amazon is £27.99 (but out of stock) and then there are sellers on eBay for £20 + £4 shipping. Will these be the same as the Tomtom stock or will they be older USB versions or possibly fakes? Did I read somewhere you get fake RDS cables? |

When I trey to order these from Currys, they are not available for Home Delivery and the 8 stores withing 15 miles are all showing as Out Of Stock.

The answer to the Free Home Delivery problem appears to be perseverance.
I finally was given the Free Home Delivery option after severals days trying.
The device is now on its way to me

Likewise, the first time I tried to order they were not available on home delivery and there were none in stock in stores near my home in Edinburgh.
As I'm currently working in Perth, I checked the stores there and found they were in stock in the Perth stores. I made a mental note of this and logged off intending to reserve online when it was convenient for me to to pop round & collect a couple.
I then went back online a few days later to do this and found they were now available for home delivery ... nice !  |

I followed the link on Monday no stock in any stores within 30 miles and no home delivery. Checked again on Wednesday to see the home delivery box ticked. Ordered 2 and they have just arrived. Good service and free. Good on ya Curry's.
