Speed Advisor

Hi All

Newbie here, apologies if i`m posting in the wrong place.
Just bought the medion gopal E4230. It has, as well as speed cam alerts, a speed advisor but for the life of me i cant seem to get it to work i have tried all the settings, warning at 5mph etc but it wont give me an audible warning when i fly over the speed limit.

I can't speak for the Medion specifically, but if it is anything like the TomTom, the speed limit data is encoded in the mapping and it is only there on SOME roads.
On the TT you can tell when it is missing, because there is an option to show the speed limit next to your actual speed on screen and VERY often it's not there. Is there anything similar so you could check on your unit?

Sorry just realised those icons mean speed/average speed. Still in the dark.
