Has anybody had any dealings with them before?
I'm beginning to get a little concerned as I sent my tomtom (and payment) to be repaired over a week ago and have had no response to any of my email messages since and can't seem to get through on the phone (no answer).
In their response to my original enquiry, they said they'd be able to fix it and send it out the same day as they receive it and seemed very pleasant and quick to respond. Since posting the tomtom and paying via paypal, I've heard nothing at all from them.
I've searched and found a few people recommending them on this forum but nobody mentioning having the same problems I'm having at the moment. |

Whilst I'm surprised at the poor experience you have had I can assure you that the guys behind the company are trustworthy.
I'll see if I can raise a response from them. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren.
I decided to go with them after reading posts on here recommending them (including posts from yourself), infact that's how I found them, a google result led me here.
Like I said, he seemed a pleasant enough chap when corresponding via email (he even offered for me to take it to him and have it fixed while I wait, but sheffield's a bit far to go from tyneside).
I'm just becoming a little concerned as I've had no contact at all since emailing him to confirm I'd sent payment. |

I was thinking that could be the case but I was told it'd be sorted the day he received it.
I'm assuming for now there's a legit reason as to why I haven't had it back or heard anything but I am beginning to get a little concerned (especially as I'm moving to a totally new area in a couple of weeks and really need it for work). |

Quick update:
I just had an email from the chap asking me for a contact number, he called within minutes and explained everything.
Basically, he'd been away, hence not replying. He said they'd ordered in whatever part for my tomtom (it needed a part they don't carry) and I should have it back in a couple of days.
He seems a thoroughly nice bloke, even offered me helpful information on hardwiring the unit into my car and I'd like to wholeheartedly apologise for doubting their service.
I'd definitely recommend them now having spoken to him on the phone. |

Glad to hear its all sorted, I was beginning to fret as we know the guys behind it and they are good 'uns.
They are a small outfit but they are experts in the hardware, possibly more expert than the guys at TomTom! _________________ Darren Griffin |

That seems to be the case, he was telling me about technical things that went straight over my head |
