| Can somebody help me with which programme opens the POI files, I foolishly asked my PC tp open them with POi loader and it has changed the file to do just that but my speed camera file no longer works. Is there any way to change them back to the original settings easily or will I have to re-install everything, thanks in advance, Rich |

hold down 'shift' on the keyboard then right click the file. you will have an extra option of 'open file with...' - click this then choose the correct program and select the 'always use this programme to open this file type'

you mention POILoader so I will assume you are a garmin user?
if so then the files will be csv files which are usually opened with Microsoft Excel (if you have it installed) or maybe Lotus-123 or maybe even OpenOffice...

| Thanks again MaFt, sorry was in a panic, off to Spain in 8 hours and left it til the last minute !! I am using a Nuvi 350, reloaded all the files and seems ok now, thanks again. |

| Back from Spain now, worked a treat quite a few fixed cameras between Girona and Salou, even picked up one in the roadworks on the AP7 near to Girona airport, well impressed. Thanks for your help. |
