Been trying to load POIs since 8pm Friday, now 0120 Sat.
The page does not load, only get the 1st 3 options down to Accommodation and then rest is blank. No maps no nothing.
Have trashed my Temp files etc, cleaned cache. Thrown laptop at the wall and swore at it (and mods) to no effect.
Forums load ok.
Using OSX 10.5.7 and FF 3.0.10.
Edit.
is there a prob with site or is it me? _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

I must admit that when I click the POI's page it can take several mins to load. Been like that for some time with me, but some times I give up after 5 mins.

Just tested now and it loaded up with a few seconds and I was able to select and download a POI without issue.
Post back if you continue to have a problem? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Daren,
Still getting the same problem.
Submit POIs takes about 15-20 secs to load, thats OK.
But only part of page is loading, I get country, down to Accommodation and more or less blank after that. No map is loading.
Have tried reloading the page / refreshing etc.
Downloading POI works OK.
Cheers Bob
Edit by me.
I get the following
Country
Action
POI id
Lat
Long
Category
(No Sub Cat)
Title
Phone
heading
details
Comments
Then rest is blank. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Not sure what to suggest as it loads fine for me, does this occur regardless of browser? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Loads fine with Omniweb and safari on the Mac.
So, I suppose that means it's FF.
It has been quite slow the last 2 weeks or so to be honest when submitting POIs, but always worked.
I'll flush out all temp files and cache etc and see what happens. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

No problems here with Firefox 3.0.10, I can see the whole page and the categories appear reasonably quickly on clicking the '+'. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

It used to work fine - no problems at all. Just stopped.
I have some of the tracking cookies blocked, 'addthis' and the google analyticals etc.
But that has always been the case with no problems before, and the rest of the site works fine as well.
Just the submit POI. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Further to this, have tried to add a camera, and have the same problem.
Everything loads except for the map.
This is more or less the same problem i have with the POI.
For whatever reason it seems to be the google map part that is not loading.
I have not changed setings in FF, the only new addon is Ghostery which reports bugs etc within the web page.
But it was all working preivously with it installed anyway.

Not sure if will make any difference or not, but can you try clearing your browsers cache and history. |

Stumped. | Are you using NoScript? I don't see the map unless I Allow gstatic.com.
See if this looks like what you are seeing? Without & With gstatic.com Allowed? _________________ Jock

can you run firefox in safe mode? (apps / firefox (safemode) as opposed to normal firefox. this will disable ALL plugins and if it works in that then you can be sure there is a plugin at fault some where!

Just a very quick update.
yes, I do run No Script, always have with no prob.
Have gscrip allowed.
MaFt, will try this later
Edit.
Just ran FF in safe mode, with ALL Addons turned off, and the POI submit paged loaded ok, albeit it chugged away for 10 -12 secs.
The only 'new' addon i have was Ghostery and I have removed that. But it previously worked with it. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

could have been a slight update to any of the plugins that messed it up? now the fun part is to disable each plugin one at a time to find the culprit...
