Hi

I have just purchased a Tom Tom Go 730 with Western and Central Europe maps installed, which includes GB and Ireland.
Would there be any benefits or greater detail be available in the stand alone UK & Republic of Ireland map ?

The only slight benefit from running the smaller UK&ROI map is when searching for locations, but we are talking about one or two seconds so this is no big deal, the smaller map also frees up some storage space on the device which you can use for mp3 music etc, I would leave the Western And Central European map on the device rather than spending any more cash on a different map - Mike
