It was useless anyway so I don't really miss it but it seems odd that sometimes it is there for others.........

I spent the whole time leaping for the button anyway, as it would take the noise from the radio to mean "No" and would go back to the old route, leaving me shouting "Yes" over and over again
(until replaced by something far more satisfying to shout at it, if you know what I mean... Wink )

Very odd - since the release of 8.351 I have hit many many traffic holdups and still have not been given the option to shout like an idiot at the TT.

This is using a USB RDS-TMC on a 920 and a 930, both running 8.351.

I dunno, I rather miss it. It gave me the opportunity to shout abuse at the device - I'd shout "Not bluddy likely, you stupid woman" and it would say "OK, staying on same route". Thumbs Up If only it would understand my navigation dialogue that well! Rolling Eyes

Anyway, you'll be getting yours back any day now and it'll do so many things you'll wonder why you never contacted TomTom in the first place. Twisted Evil

I wish - I updated my case yesterday asking for an update and guess what .......

still no reply.

They have graciously replaced my car charger, home dock and windscreen mount as they were a bit worn apparently. Let's hpe that with new accessories it cures the stuttering and reboots on handsfree calls.

They also mentioned something about the RDS-TMC receiver having glue on it. I wonder how that happened????

I jogged them up about my reduced volume problem, sorry - CHALLENGE - and they've sent me instructions on how to do a chkdsk, preceded by some strange instructions on how to do a backup without using TT Home - something about Windows Explorer? Confused

Gosh, no! It's a couple of pages about clicking things like Desktop and creating a new folder called "Backup", then open My Computer and then click on the removable device which is called E: then clicking edit and select all and edit copy and then clicking the new folder called backup and then clicking edit paste. That's just Step 2 and it's beginning to look complicated. It was never this difficult when you did a backup using Home. Evil or Very Mad

I hope I can get this done soon - I'm due in Corfu 11am next Friday! And I really must cut the lawns before I go.
