Arghhhhhhhhh.

TT 720, map WE 8.30, App 8.35. Consolidated UK camera file from pgpsw.

Liz camera warnings working fine until after the map update.
Have entered new favourites and POIs.
Came to enter Liz warning and didn't have the option, so did reset etc, still not given the option.
Removed all the camera files and Liz ogg files.
Downloaded fresh from here.

Entered Liz ok up to the red light camera, and POW! After that not given the option of Liz, set the distance and click OK and it doesn't go any further.
Have tried using the emulator and direct on the TT, no joy.
In fact the emulator locks up completely after entering about 3 camera warnings.

Think I saw this last year, but can't remember.
Have done a search and either get loads of results for all sorts of things, or nothing.
Sorry if this has been done before, but at the moment, after 3 hours of booting, rebooting, shutting down, copying and deleting files I am about 1" away from smashing the TT with a plumb hammer.
Especially after reading that all the GPS satellites are going to fall out of the sky next year.

Crying or Very sad

Set the warnings up using the device rather than the emulator as its more reliable, the device won't offer an option to choose the Liz camera voice, when it says "Is this the sound you want to use" but it doesn't play anything at all simply answer YES and the warning will work (answering NO will lock up the device) - Mike

Hi Mike,

It's not giving me that option.
Well it did for the gatso and mobile cameras, but for all the cameras after that I get the 4 options of full spoken, short spoken, sound effect and type u r own.

I tap Sound effect, then put in distance and it doesn't go any further. Keeps stuck on the distance or goes back to the 4 options.

This is all on the device.

Also, everytime I shut down and re start, the vehicle icon is defaulting back to the TT blue.
Everything is on the SDHC card.

This sometimes happens if you have pMobile files loaded but no pMobile .ogg warnings.

The solution is to leave them till last to configure with the built-in 'bings' or to add a pMobile alert .ogg file pack and then configure as normal.

I'm getting the same thing with my european pmobiles, even though I have copied the ordinary mobile .ogg files and renamed them to match the camera pois. They were working last summer when I last went to France on whatever Navcore version I was using then.

My car icon also reverts to the standard arrow, but only when I have been using the emulator and I have to reset it each time. Likewise, Tim always reverts to Kate when I have used the emulator and I have to reset the voice each time. That's something I reported to TT several versions ago but it hasn't changed.

Repeat after me: 'TT HOME is the devils work' Smile Avoid it at ALL costs. Updates and map upgrades only.

Anything else and you're playing Russian Roulette.

Many thanks for the help, glad I'm not alone on this.
Thinking about it, the icon changes after using the emulator as well.
Just that last night I was trying so many different combinations of files etc I just lumped all my problems together.

Have hammer at the ready and it better do as it's told this time. Evil or Very Mad

Cheers, Bob

Edit by me.

Cheers Darren, did what you said and all sorted.
