Have you tried moving the protection slider on the SD card so it is write protected?

I think everything should then be saved to internal memory. Though I have not tired this as I have no need to do so.

Select the Route you want to move/ copy to the SD card then select "Edit you will find the following options:

Move Route to SD card
Copy Route to SD card

I used this technique earlier this evening to copy a route I had created on my device on to another forum members SD card so we both had the same data sets to follow - Mike

LostMike's suggestion worked in Version 1.3. The only issue at that time was that a phantom file was shown as being on the SD card. This phantom file disappeared on powering down.

Mikealder is also correct but I believe you want to go the other way, follow his directions but select the file on the SD card and you'll get the prompt to move to memory.

This work fine so thanks............

My problem was when it saved to my SD card I could not export the route. I could copy it but it copied as a file rather than a .gpx file so would I could not import into the map based software I used.

I am using the lastest software and platfrom so I wondered if this is normal.

Another question was when I converted a track to route even thought I had no route active on my active 10 the route was still being shown in grey on the active 10 map. Any ideas

Many thanks

Mike

This is normal for the Active10. It will display any inactive routes in grey - quite a nice feature if, like me, you plan a set of routes to cover different eventualities - you see an active route in Yellow/Orange and the alternatives in Grey. You can turn this option off in the device settings I believe.
