Verifying cameras outside of the UK?

How do you go about verifying cameras outside of the UK - in my case Australia?

If I wanted to become one would would I have to do as I'm happy to help, I've submitted a few (since one got me the other week my first speeding fine this year which is a PITA) and I want to help others.

What do I need to do or can I even become one?
