Screen brightness on Go 720

I have just bought a refurbished Go 720 - good price and looks like new. However, the screen brightness is nothing like my old TT One. Is that normal, or have I got a dud? If it's normal, are there any alternative colour schemes I can import to alleviate the problem? It's just about acceptable here, but will be unreadable when I am in the south of France this summer

Robin try the higher contrast colour schemes for the maps such as "Afrika" I find this works better when the sun is out (a rather rare occurace in this country though) - Mike
