while driving southbound on the M1 yesterday, my map froze as soon as i entered the roadworks between junc 28-24. although the voice prompts mileage countdown and current speed displays remained unaffected. the exact same thing happened on the return journey, as soon as i entered roadworks the map just froze. i tried turning it off and on again with no success. it wasn't until i had exited the roadworks that the map would respond again. has anyone else experienced this or can anyone shed some light on it. many thanks

I just simulated this on my 265WT and saw no problem. Does the map freeze if you simulate the route on your unit and what version of the map have you got?

Used M1 travelling south with my 765t yesterday. The map froze just south of Mansfield and even switching off and on made no difference. Only the map froze (like blank after switching off and on) the messaging and voice instruction continued as normal. I suggest that the trip signal on at exit from the average speed monitoring on the cyclops data base may be incorrect as checking after the unit appeared to have fallen into seeting change vehicle icon.

I have managed to sort my problem. i paid for the cam database on this site and removed the cyclops trial on my nuvi 265wt. this has corrected everything, i simulated it first from both directions, but is wasnt until today that i have actually done the run in person. if it saves me a 60 quid fine and 3 points im in......
