Is the Go720 compatible with my Samsung phone

I am on the lookout for a SatNav unit offering some kind of traffic add on functionality. I've seen another post here recommending the Go 720 as a good buy from Total PDA and I can see this can be used with the Traffic Plus service. However my phone isn't listed as compatible with the service although I think this may just be a case of the list not being up to date. My phone is a Samsung i8510 which was also known as an Innov8 when it first came out.

Can anyone tell me if the service will work via this phone or what functionality I need to be looking out for in the specs?
