Please help......
Having bought my Satmap Active 10 back in December, I have recently registered it at Satmap.com. I am trying to access the route planner & route share pages but keep being bounced back to a page that asks me to agree with the products terms & conditions. I have contacted a mate who is registered & he thinks that my late registration has disabled me from trying the free Beta version of the software & I now need to purchase such for £80.00. Can anyone confirm this please.
Thanks in advance. |

Jasper,
To get the free Route Planner and Route Share you needed to purchase your Active10 before 23rd. March and register it prior to April 1st.
If you registered after this date then yes it will cost you £79.99.
If you did register it and still can't get the Planner I would give Satmap a call.

P.S.
It's not the Beta version that is free but the full version ( if you meet the criteria ) despite what it says on the Satmap banner.

Give Satmap a ring on Monday, it might help if you can offer a copy of the receipt from when you purchased the device, it would be rather cruel to exclude use of the planner just because someone didn't register the device when they first got it. They are a decent bunch so discuss it with them, please let us know how you get on - Mike |

To be honest, this is the exact reason you should register. If you register you get informed about developeements and offers, etc. and you would have heard about this when it became available. On the other hand Mike is right, and they are a nice bunch I have only had to ring them twice, but always been happy to help me through problems. At least they are not like other companies which I have dealt with that won't give you support with out asking you your life history with the device before any help is given. |
