nuv1 660 traffic not working

Just binned my old 310 for a NOH 660. Been using it for a few days and the traffic doesnt appear to be working. Do you have to initiate it at all?

I don't know if your problem is related to mine, but Garmin have some problems with software receiving traffic info at the moment - see my post below titled 'TMC in Scotland' in this section.

My problem was that I was receiving traffic info for Scotland and England up till Jan this year. Then it stopped for Scotland, but I kept on receiving traffic (major incidents) for England. Are you not receiving any traffic info at all?

Nothing whatsoever. The little icon is greyed out on the menu screen. I've tried the search for providers and that gets nothing.
The Nuvi has all the latest software installed.
