I have been running the GPRS traffic service for 11 months on my 730, I was using the tomtom account from another of my devices for the traffic (tomtom services) as I had 10 months left on it when I purchased the 730. Today I purchased 12 months traffic for this device today and have tried to put my new user name and password in and the tomtom displays ' could not connect to this service. Please check the wireless data connection'. So I tried to put in my original (other deivce) name again and get the same message. I have deleted the phone and tried to make a new data connection on three different uk networks and they all fail. I have restored my backup (windows backup) and the original account still works so my phone, sim, tomtom etc are ok. Please help me to change the 'my tomtom account' so that I can use the traffic.

Is your 730 associated with your new account through TT HOME??

I fixed this by fluke. Restored my working windows backup to get the old account working via my mobile phone gprs. Then connected the device to the computer and operated it via home. Changed prefs. Tomtom account and entered the new details.
By the way yes the device was registered to my home account, and those are the details I am now using for traffic etc.
