Hi Everyone,

I use a TomTom 710 and wondered if there was a way to put a Canal Plan on an SD Card and use it in my TomTom?

I would be really grateful if you could explain (in easy terms) how to go about putting a plan onto an SD Card... if it is at all possible with the CanalPlan website?

It's not something that gets discussed a lot here, but there are some instructions on the TomTom website for adding "overlays" to your maps (and lots of examples can be downloaded via TomTom's "Home" utility).

Alternatively, you could have a look at the ttmaps website HERE - I haven't looked too deeply at this. It seems to be some add-on software to use additional raster map files, but how this differs from the built-in TomTom overlay features I'm not sure.

Strangely enough, there have been two questions on a similar vein over on another forum in the last few days -HERE and HERE, which might be worth a read.
