I think I might avoid those voice updates until there's a reason to use them. There is (reportedly) a change to allow some future functionality for those voices, but some posters report that speech hesitation has returned if the updated voices are used. The cure is easy using a speech editor (designed by a user named turboccc) to increase the announcement speed from 45 to 50, but most users don't care to muck around with computer files. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr.
The 2 English-British voice files are a subtle improvement on the previous versions and I haven't heard any "stuttering".. Both have been given the turboccc treatment to get rid of the "recalculating" phrase without issue! _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70
