SATMAP map backups

Have tried to do backups for map packs but when the backup card is loaded the device reports no map packs. Further nothing appears on the device just the base map. The card appears to show exactly the same data as the original but obviously there is something missing. Have switched hidden files on but nothing obvious. Craeted a folder on pc uploaded from original into file then downloaded onto new card as card to card appeared not to work. Any ideas am I missing a trick ?

The map is locked to the ID of the card it is supplied on, you can make a backup but only ever put the map back on the same card it was supplied with. It isn't possible to load maps to different cards as this is a measure taken to prevent map from being illegally copied - Mike
