I'm buying a tomtom 4 the wife.

Should i get ?

1. TomTom ONE XL (UK Maps) with FREE Carry Case for £91.99 delivered
(A Refurbished unit from totalpda.co.uk)

2. TomTom ONE v4 for £83 delivered (brand new)

I have just got my wife a new One XL classic with GB and Ireland maps £104:99 from Amazon, free p&p which came next day and have just downloaded the lastest maps free as well.

So if you go for a classic I would spend the extra £14 and get a new unit.

Definitely go for the widescreen model.
Most of the One XL models had an SD card slot for easy expansion too. The new ONEs don't.
