voice input not working

Hi all, i cant use the voice input on my 930 the icons in the menu are not greyed out (spoken address dialougue and spoken address) but the icon in the top right of the screen is (the half moon with the lips on) is ..does anyone know what maybe wrong.Many thanks in advance for a reply.

Try a reset to factory settings (preferences menu) and a reset, and DON'T re-use a MapSettings.cfg file from a previous map/software version.

Also check that in your ASR folder there is a file called support_asr.dat

If you open this file with notepod all that is in it is

Without this file ASR will not work, although it usually results in no ASR icons at all.
