anyone got any recommendations please for free software I can use for my GPS track files please.

Coud do with something that hsows graphs of time of walked track, elevation, distance (etc) as many stats as possible.

Any tips of which software you use to review and look back on your GPS logs would be great to hear about.

Cheers!

I've used GPSU for several years and it does all that you mention.

I have just started to use SportTracks http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/ for mountain biking. It will work with any activity not just biking.

I would be interested in knowing what people use for other travel logs. I have travelled all over Europe, Africa, USA and Canada with my GPS and have stack loads of logs for everywhere I have been. I have imported most of them into Google Earth and formatted them ok but find it clunky and annoying to edit and display. Something that can display info similar to Google Earth but maybe in a calendar format that can handle geocached images etc is what I'm after.

I have found RouteBuddy http://www.bioneural.net/2008/08/14/get-your-gps-fix-with-routebuddy-22/ which looks really nice but is Mac only unfortunately.
