Our CeBIT 2009 Show Special Newsletter is published today. With round-ups of all the best tech showcased at the Hanover Trade Show it summarises what's hot and what's not.

CeBIT 2009 has seen an obvious downturn in interest both from exhibitors and attendees alike with 25% less visitors and many halls that were full to the brim in previous years being half empty. Clearly the industry is digging in for a tough year and the often huge expenditure involved in attending shows such as these are one cost that can be culled easily.

Of course the flip side is it can send a very bad message to customers but this doesn't seem to have swayed TomTom, TeleAtlas, Navteq, Mio/Navman, Nokia and more who chose to stay away.
