I can understand that might be what the INTENTION of the LMG was, and I've written elsewhere that I think TomTom were generous to give the 30 day lee-way....... but that is what they did and it's what the LMG clearly states. It isn't ambiguous!
So either they should accept that universally, or change the wording of the terms and conditions.

*If* it was a mistake, then this isn't the first time that sloppy writing by the marketing people have got them into trouble - Mapshare was promised to do far more then it actually could, and recently TT have had to give away remote controls to purchasers from Halfords because of dodgyly written advertising copy.
