GO 520 and LG KP500 phone

Can anyone help, as at the moment I am pulling my hair out.
Received a LG KP500 phone as an upgrade and I am having trouble making a data connection to use with TomTom Traffic.

The phone is on Virgin Mobile pay as you go. The phone will connect to the GO520 but will not connect for traffic.

Any advice or suggestions would be welcom

After spending the whole day trying to sort this problem out I am about to give up. The sales pitch was "yes it will connect to your TomTom", however the Virgin Mobile Tech Team have been unable to help and are now saying it is not compatable.

It would be interesting to know if anyone is using Virgin Mobile to download to their TomTom

I think the question is, 'will it work on the Virgin mobile network?'.

If you were sold it based on the say so of someone saying it WILL work with the virgin mobile network, I would be considering a complaint. If it was merely a 'yes the phone will pair up to the Tomtom' ie for Handsfree, then you may be a bit more stuck!
