I read somewhere recently that there has been a reduction in income from fines from UK speed cameras. I am aware of the increase reported between 2001 and 2007, but I'm more interested in the 2008 figures. Has anyone else seen this news item and, if so, can they remember where?
I've been searching for some time now but drawn a blank _________________ Robert Brady |

Neither are recent but then income figures will I suspect be at least a year behind? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren, they're useful, but I'm still very curious to find the more recent story quoting the figures for 2008.
Given that it usually takes an age for these sorts of figures to be officially released, I was wondering whether the source was reported in the article. _________________ Robert Brady |

If the revenue from speed cameras keep dropping then no doubt they will be looking at ways of increasing the revenue i.e by banning speed warnings like pgpsw, this can be related to utility bills when you make reductions in usage to save money the utility companies increase prices to maintain the same profit levels. you just cant win. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

Thanks Martin. Entertaining reading, especially "A bit like diagnosing a patient as perfectly healthy, apart from the fact that they are currently dead." _________________ Robert Brady |
