You can get the Manage POI files to work on the TomTom ONE v4 (30 Series - new easy mount) using App 8.010
This uses the SDK registry file to alter the menu structure, but you do loose other things like HelpMe as they are not supported in the SDK
Here is a menu that comes as close to the ONE v4 standard menu options as possible with the current App 8.010

Note: I have added the text browser, you can view .txt and .html docs on this unit by adding the folder 'text' (without the quotes) to the root directory, and placing your files within that folder. You can also view small .gif images from that menu - will show you how to do this at a later date.
First make a BACKUP of your total system using Explorer, not TomTom HOME, see FAQ #1 if you are unsure how to do this by clicking Here.
To create the file for your ONE v4 just open a new Notepad on your pc. Copy and paste the code above into it and Save As: TomTom.mnu (case sensitive)
Now connect your unit to your pc and using Explorer (not TT HOME) create a folder called:
SdkRegistry (case sensitive)
on the root directory of your unit. Open that folder and copy and paste the TomTom.mnu file into it.
Disconnect unit from your pc via SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE icon on the taskbar.
Your unit should reboot and the new menu should work.
To return to your units original (default) menu, just connnect your unit again to your pc and remove/delete/or rename the TomTom.mnu file. Disconnect unit from your pc via SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE icon on the taskbar.

Now the how to view images on your ONE v4 using the Browser feature from the above post.
In order to view images on your ONE v4 now that TomTom has disabled this feature you need to use the SDK menu as shown above.
I have found that images can be in several different formats, but resizing your images to 320 x 230 and saving in .gif format works the best. This is due to the fact that these images only use a small amount of memory. Using other image formats slows the ONE v4 quite a lot when it loads the images. Note also that this displays the images so that the Page-Down and Page-Up buttons work ok.
I don't know how many images you can have in one listing using the following html format before again its slows down, but in the following file I have tried 12 which work without any problems.
You can create several html files with different names that includes whatever you like.
On your main pc create a html file (just open a new NotePad text file) with the following data in it:
Save that file as:
Images_01.html (you can call the file whatever you like - eg: my_car.html etc)
Before continuing you should do a FULL BACKUP of your ONE v4 via Explorer (not TT HOME). Always use Safely Remove Hardware icon in the Task Bar to dis-connect your unit (otherwise you could corrupt it).
Now to install the files etc
Connect your ONE v4 to your computer using Explorer (not TT HOME).
On the root directory of your ONE v4 create a folder called:
text
Now OPEN that folder and create another folder called:
Images
Now OPEN that folder and copy and paste the above html file you created into it.
DO make a BACKUP of your images to a separate folder on your pc of the images you intend to view on your ONE v4 (just so you do not loose them or harm your originals).
Now you need to copy and paste your 12 .gif images into the same folder (resized to 320x230).
The image files have to have to be saved with the names:
001.gif
002.gif etc
NOTE: you can use the original file name(s) - but would need to change the html file names to the same for it to work.
eg: if your original image was called SANY0001.jpg then after re-sizing you call it SANY0001.gif the html file would need changing from 001.gif to SANY0001.gif
You can now disconnect your ONE v4 from your main pc. PLEASE do this using the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the task bar (otherwise you can corrupt your unit).
To view the images on your ONE v4 just tap the screen and select the following:
