Hi guys
Getting an odd problem with hte speed cam database icons on my go540
whenever it is supposed to show the icon for mobile cameras my 540 always shows the icon from the tropical fish shop POI.
I have checked the the files have the correct name and in explorer each icon shows corectly. camera for mobile and fish for shop.
Anyone got a clue whats going wrong.
Thanks

You could demo an A to B route to test? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Just done a quick A to B demo before and after re-set and the cameras are showing correctly on the Demo for both.
Interesting? |

I get this on the 540 too.
I have POI sets for Vodafone, o2 and Orange mobile phone sites.
All of a sudden, Orange and o2 are both using the Orange .bmp and vodafone is using a generic .bmp (red dot) rather than their own company logo's
When I updated the latest app for the 540 it sorted it out but now gone back to been wrong after a couple of uses, grrrrrrrrrr

To reset your x40 unit if you don't know how - press and hold the power on/ off button until the device re-boots and plays the drum roll, there isn't a hole to poke a paperclip in on these devices without causing damage - Mike |

I cannot remember now if it was on my 530 or 940 but I got the wrong icons after using the TomTom report a safety camera option. I had to go into the unit from windows explorer and delete the three files it created and everything returned to normal.
I cannot remember the file names as I have not used this function since, but I seem to remember (could not easily find the post) posting the details on here a few months back. _________________ Drivelux |
