|
|
I have just created a new account in Tomtom Home and I paid for the map update service.
I currently have UK map version 815.2003.
If I go to update my device it lists 815.2024. It says this map cannot be installed as it does not work on my device.
Can anyone confirm what the latest UK map version is for the 540? |

v815 is the latest map for your device so its certainly up to date, if a new map is released within 30 days of you purchasing the device you will be able to update it, but for now you are as up to date as anyone can be - Mike |

Why is it showing a map update under updates when its not compatible with my device? |

I have no idea why its doing that, the v815.2003 is the current map AFAIK - perhaps you could ask TomTom customer support in the morning, their contact number is 0845 161 0009 - Mike |

Mike, last week whilst driving along the A7 from Carlisle towards Hawick, running two devices, I noticed that the v815.2024 showed the new on-going road improvements whereas the v815.2003 didn't. I thought they were identical except for IQ and LG on v815.2003. |

Map versions I have seen so far:
v815.2003 (UK and IE) seen on a 520, a 530 and a 940
v815.2023 (UK and IE) on a Go510
v815.2023 (W+CE) on a GO 910 App: 7.903 (9183/040301)
and
v815.2024 (UK and IE) seen on a One 3rd Ed.

Stuart, can you possibly give more details about the 815.2024 map type (WE/UK etc.) and unit you have the map working on? Also, was it the map installed on the device from new, or was it an upgrade?
Many thanks for any more info you can give. |

The Unit running UK and RoI 815.2024 is a TTG 500 which my son bought off Ebay to replace a stolen one from a burglary at his business lock-up. It has App 8.204 so it must have been upgraded at some time, but not by him !!
I use a TTG520T with 8.300 and UK 815.2003 |

Thanks.
So it looks (probably) that if you buy a map for download now, you will get build #2024.
Can anyone confirm? |
