This is an excellent review. I have purchased the Tomtom Navigator to use with my T3. This ws advertised with the safetycamera database, which I find I have to download. I have only seen one reference to how to do this in the Forums, and the person assumes a higher level of knowledge than I (a computer professional) have. Do I use Checkpoint (how do I load it and which version?) or what?

I cannot find a support email contact on the site, and so I am replying to you hoping that I get a reply.

Follow the instructions in the TomTom Go section on the speed camera page (the Go uses the same software as TT on the Palm), i.e.

Copy the OV2 and BMP files to your Storage Card into the Country Directory (e.g. \Great Britain) and enable them in the POI screen.


YOu don't need Checkpoint or anything else - that's specific to the PPC which currently uses a different version of the TT software to the Palm and Go versions.
