You could have edited your original post and no-one would have been any the wiser! Wink

(There should be an "Edit" button at the top right of your own posts. If you get in quick before anyone else replies, it edits "invisibly", but once someone has replied, it pops a note at the end to say you've changed something).

Suggest you use the edit button to edit "testin" to "testing" Smile

Hi TonyD
Well, I must give you 10 out of 10 for observation.

I suppose I could pretend that I missed the ‘g’ off of the word ‘testing’ intentionally but I doubt if anyone would believe me.

I only just discovered this today but if you press and hold the large centre button in the joypad on the x40 remote control the voice control is activated then you can say "sound off". This means you do not have to reach for the unit.

Missed that when it went off topic about the editing! Wished I had known sooner as this is really useful in a people carrier.

Absolutely, I have a people carrier too, and just love TT's remote control. Friends are often quite quizzical about why one should need a remote for something you can touch.
