Route calculation query

Apologies if this has been asked before ....

Having recently dipped my toe into the murky world of TT traffic just wondered how the route calculation works with IQ routes.

For example, if a certain stretch of motorway at 8:00am on Monday has a delay of 10 minutes (IQ routes). If TT traffic recieves data that there is a 10minute delay on the same stretch of road would this be added to your journey time (when it has already been acount for)?

I would assume the Traffic delay is added to the value from the IQ routing.
Not a lot of point in having traffic otherwise!
