Followed your instructions and have got a working silent voice. Unfortunately, igo still plays the bong sound before not saying the instruction.
Can this sound be turned on and off in the program ie
normal daily driving - silent voice, no bong
driving somewhere i need instructions - normal voice with bong.
Ideally, if a voice with silent in the name, no bongs, otherwise bongs

Will there be a version for the newer iGO8 versions?
Looking at your site the screenshot page is empty. Is it my problem or others as well? |

As far as I can determine the data.zip file hasn't changed significantly for any of the newer 8.3.2.xxxxx releases, so there is no advantage to be gained in updating the skin.
However if you have an official version on which it doesn't run then please let me know.

Might be a browser problem but I can't find it. 
EDIT: Checked again and the problem is with a firewall which blocks my access to imageshack.  : |

That's a bit draconian, unless of course it's your own firewall.

hi i´m new in this forum
i´m from germany and my english ist not so good, sorry for that
i have a 7" in dash headunit in my car with igo 8
before i buy this unit i had a ppc phone with gps and igo8 software with the new ultra skin 6.0.21
on my ppc with igo 8.3.2.80621 work the skin great
but on my car radio it doesn´t work, because the resolution of the headunit
it needs a resolution of 480x234 but the new skin doesn´t support this
i find the skin great!! i used the ultra skin 5.0 earlier too with the old version igo8 8.0.0.xxx
I Have a wish a great wish, can the skinner of this skin put the resulotion from 480x234 into the next skins
many other people will be happy too about it
this skin is realy great an not so freaky like the other skins and realy good in handling its mutch easier to use
THX for that if you do it i will be really happy |

I'm sorry to disappoint you but there are no plans at the moment to produce the skin in other resolutions.

please do it because there is no really good skin for that
you will be the king for all people who had such resolution
all other skins like dimka or gurjon are so overload that it is not simply to use |

Unfortunately it's not that simple, it either requires a device with that resolution to develop it on, which I don't have, or to run iGO8 in an emulator which I've not managed to do as yet.

I love the Ultra Skin. It is the best and thanks a lot.
When "Keep Position on Road" is set, iGO8 displays a blue dot showing the actual GPS position. It's useful especially when leaving from parking lots. The blue dot, however, is so tiny in 3D view that it is barely seen. Is it possible to make it bigger?

First download this and unzip the two "carpos" files:
http://rapidshare.com/files/221550190/carpos.zip
Open the iGO8_Ultra_6.0.21.zip (don't unzip it) and then copy and paste the two "carpos" files into the "ui_igo8\common" folder.
That should give you a blue dot which is double the size of the original.

During navigation the transparency of POIs changed when they are closer (from transparency to opaque). How can I have the POIs opaque at a bigger distance?
