windscreen mount advice , Dell X50 with extended battery

Ive just started doing some voluntary driving and the vehicle I have been given does not have a cigar lighter.
The ordinary battery on my Axim x50 does not last very long and my windscreen mount will not accept the dell with the extended battery.
Any product advice gratefully received.

You could make your own portable battery pack or google for such. I have one from proporta - but they don't seem to sell them now. I use it with my X51v
