Hi,

After some advice on upgrading to the latest TomTom ONE software.

I have a TomTom ONE V1 and have just updated to the latest OS and maps and all seems OK apart from the POI and time settings.

Everytime I connect to TomTom Home to update the unit resets the sounds on my POI, especially the speed cameras, and time to 00:00 - has anyone else come across this or got any suggestions?

I'm on V1, when was the last time you updated your OS? Or has it ever been updated since new.

How are you disconnecting when you've finished messing with TT Home?

This is not a "normal" USB device, so NEVER just unplug it. The full safe method in TT Home is .....

Top left, Click Device, then Disconnect device.
It will in a few seconds say it is now OK to disconnect, but don't do it - just click the OK button and wait for your device to reboot, then when it asks if you wish to connect to computer, click NO, then when it has fired up and is displaying the map, switch it off and then disconnect it, then close TT Home.

The advice applies to *all* USB Devices, but in some cases it's not as important, i.e. a printer.
