Software and maps: Saving a backup copy to cd or dvd

Have saved a copy of software etc on my pc and now trying to copy this to a cd/dvd. No problem copying to a USB stick but when trying to copy to cd/dvd I get the message 'windosws encountered a problem when trying to copy this file. What do you want windows to do?

Please help!

Can you say if you have tried this a number of times and if this is the case, is it the same file that causes the problem to pop up?

It may be that one file may have become corrupt.

Which application and map are you trying to burn and what's the OS of your pc?

Copy the necessary files into a new folder named e.g. TTBackup, zip the folder and try copying again.
