Map Updates

I may have understood this wrongly, and I am quite willing to accept my Fallibility but.

About a month or two ago after a protracted period of no new map updates. When they finally returned, I read somwhere, here more than likely, that TT were limiting the amount of times they released updates to once a week or thereabouts, in order to relieve overloading their wonderful servers.

I usually connect my go every day, dont ask me why, its just a routine I seem to have gotten into, but every evening I have received an update just as it used to be.

If this is the case one reason I can think of, is maybe all there servers or bandwidth have been upgraded.


Any other thoughts chaps?

I believe that you are right in saying that at one stage the updates were only weekly. They seem to be daily now. I have no idea if they have upgraded their servers, perhaps the load on them has reduced if many people think the updates are only weekly.
