No camera alerts on Nuvi 660

Hi Everyone

I'm a bit of a newb to GPS and Satnavs, and I have a bit of a problem.
Just got a Nuvi 660 and it seemed to be working fine - navigated Ok etc., and alerted me to Safety cameras as I expected.

That was until yesterday - I loaded an updated cam database from Garmin, and since then, no camera alerts at all - even driven past one at faster than speed limit to see if it would warn me - and it didnt (cam didnt go off tho!!)

Have spoken to garmin and theye were, erm, pretty hopeless actually.

I checked the device and I do have a UkSafetycamera.gpi file on the device.

Any suggestions as I was expecting the thing to warn me about cameras!

Can you check the settings under Settings, Proximity Alerts

Yes - that was the first thing I checked Smile

Thanks anyway.
As it is, It makes no odds now - I have binned the Garmin database in favour of the Speed Camera dbase from this site - which works fine, so all fixed now Smile
